of the first two lectures in the Wall of Peace Lecture
Series, the Gandhi & The Buddha lecture
reflects on two of the most appealing figures to come out of
India…a couple thousand years apart.
Due to
demand, the life (in brief) and teachings of these two men
will once again be profiled at the CMOHC.

Wall of Peace
Inaugurated by Deepak Chopra in May 2007, the Wall of Peace
installation at the Canadian Museum of Hindu Civilization is the
first of its kind in North America. It features prominent
individuals and symbols from a range of cultures and religions.
These busts form the prominent display against the backdrop of a
wall depicting warfare from Alexander the Great to the Nuclear
Explosion.

The presentation will take place at the Canadian Museum of Hindu
Civilization in Richmond Hill. September 21, 2007, 7:30 pm to
9:30 pm. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets: $15 ($10
