Continuing from the first workshop held in March with members of the DM Youth group we will further explore the nature of identity through a marvellously profound and symbolic text of wisdom.  Note, attendance at the first workshop is not required in order to participate in this workshop.

A recap of the first two lectures in the Wall of Peace Lecture Series, the Gandhi & The Buddha lecture reflects on two of the most appealing figures to come out of India…a couple thousand years apart.

Wisdom of India II: Mahavir & Guru Nanak - [ Lecture ]
The third and fourth profiles in the Wall of Peace Lecture Series features the life and teachings of Mahavir and Guru Nanak. Not as famous as the Buddha or Gandhi, these historic figures nevertheless have an appealing power that transcends their time and place in history.  As these men have moved from the realm of history to that of legend in India, we will rediscover the historic aspects of their lives and the timeless aspects of their teachings.
